Mrs Mad's humble opinion
9/10 Very good. I am pleased with this.
What's it about?
One little baby who just doesn't want to go to bed!
What happens?
Baby wants to stay up all night and play, so he races off in his car in search of someone to play with. All of the friends he meets are far too sleepy to play and soon he is all alone in the dark night, but someone is also awake and looking for him, someone who loves him very much.
Is it easy to read?
This is a wonderful book to read with small children. The pictures are good to describe and talk about and the text is quite large for budding readers.
Anything else?
This is a beautiful book, the story is gentle and easy to understand for young children and the artwork is lovely, it makes it a brilliant book to share with very young readers as they can look at the pictures and you can describe what is happening, my babies already love this one and they are only six months old! Highly recommended

Who says so?
This review by Mrs Mad.
The publisher reckons...
By the author of "The Bear under the Stairs" and "Little Monster Did It!". This is a story about a little boy who won't go to bed. At first it's fun staying up, but gradually the drowsy world nods off all around him, and the baby finds himself alone. But there is someone who is not asleep.
