Mrs Mad's humble opinion
9/10 Very good. I am pleased with this.
What's it about?
How one little Kitten came to be called Moonlight.
What happens?
Charlotte loves it when Mummy tells her their special story. All about a lost kitten and the little girl who spotted him in the dark and persuaded her mom to go down to the sea to search for him.
Is it easy to read?
A good to choice to encourage new readers.
Anything else?
A beautiful story with lovely, soft artwork. Another favourite with my little girls at the moment. A great story to read to the very young when they are all cuddled up ready for bed.
Other books by Martin Waddell include Can't You Sleep, Little Bear?, Mimi And The Blackberry Pies, Mimi And The Picnic, Once There Were Giants, Rosie's Babies, Snow Bears, The Big Big Sea, The Pig in the Pond, Tom Rabbit, What Use is a Moose?.

The publisher reckons...
Charlotte has a favourite story about a little girl and her mother who find a lost kitten, stranded by the sea. They named the kitten Moonlight because he was found by the light of the moon. The best thing about the story is that it is true and Charlotte can re-tell it with Moonlight on her lap.
