It's time for Mimi to bake blackberry pies.
What happens?
Everybody offers to help when Mimi says she is going to bake blackberry pies, but their help doesn't really get many berries picked!
Is it easy to read?
Great reading for new and growing readers.
Anything else?
Another lovely story from the series about Mimi and her family. A great book to share with young children.

The publisher reckons...
Mimi lives with all her brothers and sisters beneath the big tree, and it's blackberry time in the hedge. Mimi decides to make some delicious blackberry pies and everyone offers to help, but their efforts hardly bear any fruit at all, and they turn out to be far more helpful at eating the pies.
