A bus ride to hell, but is there any way back?
Andy and Chris spend Saturday riding the buses. It all starts off seemingly innocent but as the day progresses, the things that Andy seems to enjoy doing start to worry Chris. But it is on their way home on the last bus that the nightmare really begins!
A short pacy story for younger readers, or a quick read for older readers who like Swindells. Boys who can't find anything they like will enjoy this.
Swindells is a great writer. In just this short story he creates characters and situations that are clear and believable. The story races along and never lets the reader down. These books are great for building confidence in readers of any age.
Other books by Robert Swindells include A Wish For Wings, Abomination, Inside the Worm, Invisible!, Nightmare Stairs, Room 13, Stone Cold, The Thousand Eyes of Night, Timesnatch.

Andy knows a great way to spend Saturday - taking as many rides as possible on the buses. Chris likes the idea, but not Andy's other suggestion - shoplifting. However, when the boys catch the last bus, they realize that they are not heading for home, but for a destination more sinister.

The book was exciting. I liked because it was scary. The part where Chris scearms like a baby on the bus. Andy was trying to get to the bus driver when Chris was saying "No don't go Andy"
